FAQ

Questions, answered.

Riding

Can I ride today?

Not yet. MASHI is pre-launch.

Who can ride?

Anyone 18 or over with valid identification. One rider per scooter.

Where can I ride?

Inside the marked service area. Every zone is on the locations page.

Safety

Do I need a helmet?

Yes. Ask at a MASHI hub if you do not have one.

The scooter feels wrong.

Stop, park it safely and report the fault in the app.

There has been an accident.

Call the emergency services first, then tell MASHI.

Pricing

What does a ride cost?

Per minute, plus a small unlock charge. Not final yet; the app shows the price before you unlock.

How do I pay?

In the app. Payment methods are being finalised for launch.

Which currency?

Local currency for rides. A campaign uses the currency stated on the campaign itself.

Funding the fleet

What am I funding?

A unit of a specific fleet campaign. Your entitlements are set by the campaign agreement you accept before paying.

Do I own a scooter?

No. Funding a unit gives no possession of a vehicle and no role in operating it.

What does MASHI take?

Operating costs, payment and platform fees, and a management fee on net operating proceeds. Each campaign publishes its own.

When would I be paid?

Months close one at a time, and net proceeds are allocated to funded units. Distribution follows the campaign agreement, and a month can produce nothing.

How do I follow my units?

In the investor portal: statements built from actual operations, distributions paid, your balance. Estimates never appear there as earned revenue.

Can I get my money back?

Funding is not a deposit, and there is no automatic right to withdraw. Refund terms, if any, are in the campaign agreement.

Risk

Is a return guaranteed?

No. Distributions depend on what the fleet actually earns after costs and fees, and a month may produce nothing at all.

Can I lose money?

Yes, some or all of the capital you put in. Vehicles can be damaged, stolen or impounded; demand can disappoint; costs can rise.

Is this a savings account?

No. MASHI is not a bank. Your capital is not protected and pays no interest.

Is MASHI licensed?

No. MASHI holds no financial-services licence, and the campaign structure remains subject to Syrian legal and regulatory review.

How reliable is the estimator?

A planning tool only. Every figure is an estimate built from the assumptions shown beside it, not a forecast, an offer or a promise.
